However, there is a glimpse of hope that we may be able to return to some normality soon. That hope? A vaccine.<\/p>\n<p>Pharmaceutical companies around the world have been working hard to produce a vaccine for COVID-19 and with the first results of tests released, we have seen the shares of pharmaceutical companies surge over the last few days.<\/p>\n<h4><strong>Who is making the moves?<\/strong><\/h4>\n<h5><strong>Pfizer\/BioNTech<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>First, we saw Pfizer and BioNTech announce their vaccine candidate against the virus last week.<\/p>\n<p>&#8221;Vaccine candidate was found to be more than 90% effective in preventing COVID-19 in participants without evidence of prior SARS-CoV-2 infection in the first interim efficacy analysis.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&#8221;Today is a great day for science and humanity. Since early January, we have chased this virus with the intent to protect as many people around the world as possible. All along, we have known that each day matters.
